During his tenure in the Governor’s office, unemployment in the state dropped by approximately half, the state budget was balanced all years despite inheriting a huge deficit, teacher pay was linked to performance, education accountability standards were enacted, government unions were challenged, and sweeping campaign finance reform legislation was passed.
Since leaving public office, Governor Roemer has been involved in a number of business ventures. I respect his credentials because he builds banks and has been on congress and a governor. This may be what our country needs is someone with a excellent financial record in government and outside of it.

 I'm confused about is his confidence previously shown and then he shows uncertainty in this video. I do like the fact that he is disgusted with the corruption in government because I share the same opinion. He saw all these issues in government and took incentive to do something about it. His passion is amazing and I think he has real potential of saving our countries debt. I can tell he is focused on what inspires him to help instead of  being involved  in the petty debates and drama of politics's.
